Free museums in Barcelona

Hello there!

Finally comes a weekend! Do you already have a plan for this weekend? If not, we are glad to inform you about a great opportunity almost nobody have no idea. Almost all of us are interesting to have a look of self-portraits of Picasso or to get acquainted with a national artist like Goya.

So we have two great suggestions you can make use of every Sunday and all year around. Museum of Picasso and a MNAC have the doors opened for everybody and most important for FRE every Sunday/Saturday.

Museu Picasso, surely it’s not necessary make a long presentation of this great artist! If you are looking for a museum where almost all his works are presented this museum is a right place. Situated at Montcada str. In a famous Born district this museum includes about 3.800 pieces of a Spanish impressionist.  You are very welcome to visit the Museum every Sunday from 3 to 8 p.m.

The other museum we mark as a “must see” is the MNAC known as Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya where all kind of art is exposed. It’s a perfect place to have a cultural weekend and to meet your friends for a cup of coffee. Other thing you could do is enjoying great views from the top of Montjüic. This Museum has a free entrance every Saturday from 3 to 8 p.m.

Take a note that all the museums of Barcelona have a free entrance the first Sunday of every month. And some days during the year: 11 and 24 of September and 18 of May have an “Open day” for everybody! Don’t miss it! And enjoy your staying in Barcelona with us!
