LOCATION

Hotel Arc La Rambla and privileged location

The Rambla in Barcelona is a magical place that begins at Catalunya square and ends at the Drassanes dock (where in the old days ships were built and repaired), with its statue of Christopher Columbus. On the way, you will be entertained by its many human statues and portrait artists, attractions that bring such liveliness to this emblematic street.

From its origins as a channel for the city’s rainwater, today La Rambla has changed into a pedestrianised boulevard that sweeps you down from the city centre right to the port. Here you’ll find everything: bars and restaurants for every taste, news stands with the daily newspapers from all over the world, flower stalls, theatres and shopping centres.

HOW TO GET

The hotel is easy to get to by metro and bus.

Metro:

The metro station “Drassanes” (Line 3) is right outside the hotel. Five minutes’ walk will take you to the “Liceu” station (Line 3), and only two stops away is “Catalunya”, where you can change to metro Lines 1 and 3, the RENFE local trains or the Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat railway line.

Bus:

Buses stopping in front of the hotel, at the “La Rambla – Centre d’Art Sta. Mònica” stop, are No. 59, 91 and V13.

At night there is the Nitbus service (night-time buses), N0, N9, N12 and N15. Starting from Plaça Catalunya, you will take around ten minutes to walk down the whole of the Rambla.
